Since signing with Matador last spring, psych-loving folkie Kurt Vile has been prolific, releasing the LP Childish Prodigy, plus the EP Square Shells. Now, the lo-fi master is working on yet another new album. But before its release sometime in 2011, Vile will drop a new seven-inch for the track "In My Time," on November 9.
Like the still-untitled new album, "In My Time" will come out via Matador, with the single being backed with two B-sides: "Early Dawnin'" and "Sad Ghost." A post on the Matablog describes it as a "teaser/single/pre-release for Kurt Viles forthcoming long-player produced by John Agnello hitting streets in 2011"
Before the vinyl drops, the three tracks will be released through digital retailers on October 25. Expect the single to reappear on his upcoming full-length.
You can pick up the new single at the merch booth on Vile's upcoming North American tour. The outing includes one Canadian date in Vancouver on November 5. See the dates below and download "In My Time" here.
