Kurt Cobain's Ashes Stolen From Courtney Love's Home
Nirvana fans, brace yourself — Kurt Cobain’s ashes have been stolen. According to a report over the weekend by the UK publication, News of the World, Cobain’s remains were taken from the Los Angeles home of his widow Courtney Love.

"I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me,” Love was quoted as saying. "I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do."

Cobain’s ashes were apparently hidden in a pink teddy bear-shaped bag, which also contained a lock of his hair, and were pinched along with some clothing and jewelry. Love reportedly discovered the items were missing a couple of weeks ago but has yet to recover them.

Following Cobain’s death, some of the late songwriter’s ashes were scatted near his Washington home, as well as at a Buddhist temple in New York. Love kept the rest.

"They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me,” Love said. "Now it feels like I have lost him all over again."

Up to this point, there has been no sign of Cobain’s ashes on eBay.
