If you're gearing up to get patriotic for Canada Day, now is the perfect time to discover a few new jams to help ring in the festivities. Today's Music/Video roundup is filled with new tracks and videos from the past week, so you can catch up on what you may have missed. If you're just getting started, these new songs and videos might be just what you need. Scroll down to see what today's Music/Video roundup has to offer.

Start out with an uncanny solo creation from the wildly talented Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. "I Need a Doctor" is a bizarre and intricate pop gem, with all elements written and played by Ballou himself. It's a far cry from Ballou's usual metalcore sound; watch the video to find out what comes of this unexpected solo effort.

Ash & Bloom slow things down with a touching video to accompany their delicate, heart-wrenching song, "Your Hero." Watch as the track's swelling strings and fragile harmonies get paired with lakeside foliage and a fleeting romance.

On a different note, Ottawa punks New Swears have produced a video to go along with their singalong-worthy hangover anthem "Candy Land." Filled with fake blood and severed limbs, the video is destructive yet comical — watch it at the link above.

Hip-hop's resident weirdo Riff Raff released his new album NEON iCON this past week, and with it came an alternate version of his track "Versace Python." This version features a guest spot from Wiz Khalifa, making Riff Raff's single even more iconic. Keep the weird rhymes coming with Cam Smith's drug-induced fantasy adventures in his video for "Turbo," featuring XXX CLVR. Watch Smith take on a number of bizarre characters in this trippy clip.

Wrapping up our Music/Video roundup is the energizing return of the Gaslight Anthem. Listen to "Rollin' and Tumblin'" at the link above, and get stoked for the August 19 release of Get Hurt.
