Kruder & Dorfmeister's 1998 compilation The K&D Sessions is a landmark album for fans of downtempo electronic music, but official vinyl copies have become very difficult to track down over the years. That will finally change thanks to a reissue through !K7 Records, who will reissue the set digitally on November 17 and in physical forms next year.
This is the first time that the Austrian duo's trip-hop-leaning DJ mix has been officially available digitally. It has been mastered especially for iTunes, which means that it ought to sound a lot better than that version you've been streaming off of YouTube.
Sweetening the deal, the original tracklist is beefed up with three bonus cuts. See the expanded tracklist below. It's available to pre-order here.
The details for the physical version haven't yet been set in stone, but it will reportedly arrive on a double-CD and in a five-LP vinyl box set early next year.
