Korn's Jonathan Davis is Working on a Country Project

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 28, 2015

Adidas-wearing, moustache-toting, bagpipe-honking, dubstep-inventing, daddy issue-scatting Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is one hell of a diverse performer, but his next project might be his most surprising yet. Nü metal is about to meet new country, as Davis is hard at work on a new release with duo Big & Rich.

Davis recently took to his Instagram to post a photo that confirmed he was in the studio with the Nashville group comprised of Big Kenny and John Rich.

The duo are best known for their mega-hit "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)," though it's unknown if their Korn collaboration will maintain that same jokey tone. Instead, we're hoping there will be lots of guttural growls.

Stay tuned for more information on Jonathan Davis' country album as it becomes available. In the meantime, listen to Korn change music forever with their Skrillex collaboration below.
