Kool Keith has always shown a slightly dirty side, expressing his love of porno and women via his various Dr. Dooom and Dr. Octagon projects. Now his love is turning into a career move, as he has announced the launch of porn clothing line KK Apparel and production company KK Films.
In a statement, Keith expressed his distaste with the current porn industry, stating, "I'm looking for up and coming talent, instead of the normal talent that you always see out there, talent that we get monotonous with, the same girls in all the same magazines, porn boxes. I'm tryin' to work on upcoming talent. That's my thing; I'm gonna scoop some ethnic talent, and take it to another level... I'm tired of the porn - even in amateur movies and stuff like that, I'm tired of the apparel. It's time for new apparel. It's time for other things, and other coordinations in fashion. I'm also doing a soundtrack [to the KK Films] of unreleased records and stuff like that to go along with it."
