Ah, the end of the year — that time when we labour over our year-end lists and Christmas lists simultaneously while trying to figure out ways to stay warm without racking up a huge heating bill. It's also become a tradition for sleek German electronic label Kompakt to announce its annual Pop Ambient compilation.
The compilation features some prolific mainstays, including the Field and Wolfgang Voigt, as well as artists like Ulf Lohmann, who haven't been cranking out the new music as much as they used to.
The 10-track release will be available on January 27 from Kompakt. The label also celebrated their 20th anniversary with a compilation earlier this year.
