UK electronic musician/producer Maria Sullivan is probably better known by her pseudonym Koloto — especially after gaining momentum with her track "Fox Tales." Now, Set in Sand have reworked the tune, adding their own spin, and you can hear it first on Exclaim.ca.
The song originally appeared on Koloto's 2014 EP Mechanica, which was put out by Bad Panda Records last year. Set in Sand, meanwhile, take their influences from "early experimental electronic music choppery," which can be clearly heard in their glitchy, hiccuping version of "Fox Tales."
They've previously remixed artists like Little People and the Polyphonic Spree, and most recently released their What Is This Place LP last spring (via Abandon Building/Audio Dregs). Get a taste of the new material they've been working on by listening to their "Fox Tales" remix below.
