The Knife

"A Cherry On Top" (video)

The Knife's new Shaking the Habitual LP is a conscience-collapser enough as it is, but a new video for lengthy album cut "A Cherry On Top" aims to further mess with your psyche.

It's basically a looped image of matching grids swirling into separate magenta maelstroms, and it only gets trippier the longer you watch it. Compared to the backwards-masked ambiance, medieval chimes and theatrical vocals that make up the song itself, it may seem a bit restrained, but it still makes for a hypnotic companion piece.

You can watch the trance-inducing clip down below.
