Klaxons Cancel North American Tour Due to "Unforeseen Circumstances"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 18, 2011

Here's some bad news for anyone looking forward to dropping sweat on the dance floor during Klaxons' upcoming North American tour: the entire outing has just been axed.

According to a message posted on the band's Facebook, the tour has been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances." The trip was expected to start on March 25 in Orlando, FL. They were to remain on the road until mid-April, including one Canadian date in Vancouver on April 8.

There's no word as to what exactly these "unforeseen circumstances" are. Whatever the problem is, though, it's serious enough that the group decided to pull out of their appearance at the prestigious Coachella.

It's not all bad news for Klaxons fans, however. If you email your proof of purchase to info@klaxons.net, the band will send you a free download of an "exclusive song unavailable elsewhere." See the cancelled dates below.

Thanks to Prefix for the tip.
