Published Dec 30, 2013You wanted the best Kiss vinyl reissue campaign? Then you'll get the best vinyl reissue campaign this spring, apparently. If Amazon listings are to be believed, 10 of the face-painted hard rock greats' old LPs are set to drop on March 18.
Details are slim, with no info being given beyond the release date, but expected to be launched on that due date are vinyl reissues of 1974's self-titled debut and Hotter than Hell, game-changing live set Alive!, 1976's beloved Destroyer, 1979's somewhat discofied Dynasty, and 1980's Unmasked.
The band's post-makeup period will be toasted with new pressings of 1983's Lick It Up, 1984's Animalize and 1992's domino-topplin' Revenge. The classic lineup's 1998 reunion Psycho Circus is also apparently part of the reissue series, though the band have not confirmed any activity on their end.
It should be of note that March is already a busy period for Kiss, as they'll be launching the first official season of their AFL team the LA Kiss. Perhaps more in line with the back catalogue-celebrating reissue series, Kiss will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on April 10.
Thanks to Modern Vinyl for the tip.
