Kiss Outline Canadian 'Monster' Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 2, 2013

Break out the grease paint and fill a flask with cold gin, all you members of the Kiss Army, because hard rock veterans Kiss are making their way across Canada once again, this time to promote last fall's Monster.

The long-running quartet delivered details on the summer trip this morning (April 2), outlining a coast-to-coast journey in support of their 20th LP, with no doubt a number of oldies tossed in the mix. The trip kicks off on July 5 in Victoria and heads out towards the Maritimes, wrapping up in early August in St. John's.

You can see the details to the Canadian trip down below. Supporting the band on the tour will be Shinedown.

If you're ready to see Gene Simmons spit some blood or Paul "Starchild" Stanley zip-lining across a stadium to the tune of "Love Gun," take note that ticket pre-sales went up today. You can get more info over here.

"We're a real, flesh-and-blood rock and roll band with people who've spent 40 years doing what we believe in," Stanley said in a statement, adding of the Kiss ethos, "It's about celebrating life and going against the odds for what you believe in. As corny as that may sound, it got me where I am, and the naysayers will have to live where they are."
