Kings of Leon

"Supersoaker" (video)

Southern-fried sibling quartet Kings of Leon made their bid for the summer's anthem last month via the release of "Supersoaker," and now the single has been fit with a sweaty new video clip.

Set just outside the malt shoppe, the video bounces between shots of the band grinning their way through the Strokes-ish arrangement and a cast of female onlookers. The women snap their gum, seductively pour jugs of milk, and snip the buttons off of their dresses in the presence of the Kings, making for a pretty cornball video, but you can catch it all the same down below.

As previously reported, the band's Mechanical Bull hits stores September 24 via RCA. This Friday (August 9), the band's show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London will be streamed over YouTube. Actor/comedian Fred Armisen will be directing.
