King Reign

"Killer"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 10, 2014

Toronto rapper King Reign earned a spot on Exclaim!'s list of the most anticipated Canadian releases of 2014, and as he prepares for the arrival of Sincere, we can check out the new single "Killer."

The politically charged track references Trayvon Martin and a press release notes that it "represents the angst of growing up a target based on misconceptions and racial stereotypes." It features grooving production from Gameboy and scratching by DJ Grouch.

King Reign will perform at Toronto's Wrongbar on March 15 with Saukrates, Michie Mee and Goliath Paw.

Sincere is due out independently this summer. Read our recent interview with King Reign here.
