King Khan & the Shrines Roll Out Fall North American Tour, Unveil New Track

King Khan & the Shrines Roll Out Fall North American Tour, Unveil New Track
Late last month, garage crew King Khan & the Shrines announced they would serve up their new Idle No More LP on September 3 for new label home Merge Records, and now the act have unveiled a suitably timed fall tour behind the set.

The group's show schedule starts up in San Diego about a month after the LP hits stores, but the October/November trip has the Shrines making it into Canada for gigs in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. You'll find all the date and venue specifics down below.

As previously reported, Khan said that the LP was influenced by the indigenous rights movement Idle No More and touches upon "the state of the world we live in today." He also described the album as "probably the most refined piece of music we have made to date."

While the album announcement was pumped up by showcasing the set's previously premiered "Bite My Tongue," the Shrines are now streaming a brand new psych cut called "Born to Die." You can check out the paisley-printed daydream's wah-wah leads, synth-and-horn arrangements, and slyly sung hooks from top dawg King Khan beneath the concert dates.
