King Khan Launches Khannibalism Label, Drops New Single

King Khan is still going strong as one half of the King Khan & BBQ Show, who've just announced plans for a tour in support of their recent Bad News Boys album. That's not all he's got in the works, however, as the artist has also announced a brand new label.

Working with the Ernest Jenning Record Co., Khan has just launched a new imprint called Khannibalism

Khan's already populated his label with a great deal of new material. This includes a new song called "Hurtin' Class," which was recorded with post-punk mainstay Ian Svenonius for the soundtrack to a film called The Invaders. Khan recorded the film's full soundtrack, and you can stream "Hurtin' Class" below. It will arrive as a 7-inch on October 16.

You'll also find two songs from a new 7-inch called Bandit Queen, which was recorded in collaboration with actress Natalia Avelon.

There's plenty more on the way from Khannibalism, including a collaboration with Bill Frisell.
