King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard Announce New LP 'Infest the Rats' Nest'

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard just announced yet another new album. Infest the Rats' Nest is due out on August 16 via ATO/Flightless Records.

The band revealed the news on social media along with the above image, which is serves as the album cover. They also shared the nine-song tracklist, which can be seen below. Infest the Rats' Nest includes the recent single "Self-Immolate," as well as the the previously shared "Planet B."

According to a press release, the album comes with quite the heavy influence. It reads, "Infest the Rats' Nest is the sound of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard scratching the thrash metal itch, fully and unequivocally."

The PR also adds, "There's no rest for the wicked. Raise those devil's horns and prepare the spaceships, motherfuckers."

This latest release from the prolific psych-rock band comes just a few months after this spring's Fishing for Fishies. The group will be touring North America this summer.
