Kindness "Some Things Never Seem to Fucking Work" (Solange cover)
Though Solange once sung "Some Things Never Seem to Fucking Work," a new cover of the cut from Kindness (a.k.a. Adam Bainbridge) suggests that a wildly different and dark reinterpretation of the R&B single is one of life's little successes.

The True track has been completely overhauled, stripped fully of its true-blue synths, electronic shuffle and bittersweet bubblegum bounce. Instead, Kindness whips up a hypnotic whirl of looping synths and barebones mechanical clanks. Swapping out Solange's hearty vocals for his own harrowing, if tuneful, hushes makes the track seems even more mired in feelings of hopelessness.

You'll find the cover down below.

As previously reported, Kindness will be out on the road this spring supporting his sophomore set, Otherness. The trip hits Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto in March. You'll find the show specifics here.
