Singer Alison Mosshart has apparently been working on new material with her Jack White-featuring supergroup the Dead Weather, but she'll be returning to her garage rock duo the Kills in December for a short North American tour.
The outing consists of just four dates; three of them are in the U.S. (including a Brooklyn gig with Queens of the Stone Age), while the other is in Toronto on December 11. The Kills will be joined by their backing ensemble, the so-called Black Rooster Drum Corps. See the schedule below.
Meanwhile, the Kills' long-promised concert film from 2011 has finally been released. It's called Paris Spleen - The Kills Live at L'Olympia, and rather than being issued in theatres or DVD, it's available to stream in full via the clothing company Equipment's website.
The Kills are currently in the studio working on a new album. This will follow their recent live LP for Third Man Records.
