Killer Mike Credits Trump Win to "Poor Angry White People"

Atlanta rap champ Killer Mike was a hardcore Bernie Sanders campaigner, and now he's taken his political message further by addressing Donald Trump's unprecedented presidential win.

Appearing on the talk show The Real, Killer Mike explained that Donald Trump's win can be chalked up to "poor angry white people."

He said "poor white people are mad because the system that promises you something based on that, isn't gonna ever give you that."

Further, he added, "People who look like all the people on this panel — black, brown, and all types of hues in between — I think that we have been used by a party to the liberal side that once enacted, and once in office, has not enacted policy that was reflective of stuff that would bring our communities up, so I think poor people got angry, and I think that there just happen to be, by this country, more poor angry white people."
