Kid Koala Announces Special "Quiet" and "Loud" Shows
If there's one characteristic that's universal to the output of Montreal DJ Kid Koala, it's that he's a unique dude. From his playfully detailed album art through the various books and comics he produces, the DJ born Eric San always manages to liven up his work. That pattern will continue with a string of personalized tour dates from the artist.

Kicking off on April 26, Kid Koala will be performing two shows each in Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. Each city will include a night called "Loud Party" and a night called "Quiet Work." The Loud Party will be a fairly standard affair in a rock club with the usual turntable set-up, while the Quiet Work section will include calmer music intended to inspire listeners to create. Attendees to those events are encouraged to bring sketchbooks and other creative mediums to work with, and they will in turn be treated to baking and hot chocolate from San's wife Corinne.
