Kesha is coming back into our lives with a new album. The record is titled High Road, and she's giving us an idea what to expect via an intense new trailer.

The album will mark Kesha's first record since 2017's Rainbow. And while all the new album details are so far unclear, the trailer is packed full of vintage footage, new music and Kesha herself explaining what we can expect from the new record.

"I've seen the light: life is like driving across the country in a pretty small Astrovan, with your whole family in it, for 90 years," she says in the trailer. "Because I think life is a vacation from where we go when we die."

In addition to new song snippets, the trailer features bits of what appear to be new music videos. Amongst all that, there is also a clip of Kesha's "Praying" video, which was the lead single from Rainbow and addressed her still ongoing legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke.

Speaking of High Road, Kesha issued the following statement to Rolling Stone:

I feel like this time around I reconnected to the unrestrained joy and wildness that's always been a part of me — and in this process I have had the most fun I've ever had making a record. I hope my fans love it as much as I loved making it — and know I always have y'all in mind.

On the last record, I feel like I had to address some very serious things, and now this time around I have reclaimed my love of life. To quote one of my favourite songs of all time I've decided to 'fight for my right to party!' On my own terms. I won't be defined by my past, but I will learn from it. I am so happy, and I hope that happiness is infectious.

Watch the trailer for High Road below and stay tuned for details as they become available. Most recently, Kesha released the single "Rich, White, Straight, Men," which presumably will appear on the new album.
