Last month, rising Compton hip-hop figure Kendrick Lamar offered us a taste of his impending good kid, m.A.A.d. city LP via his new joint, "Swimming Pools (Drank)." Now, the rapper has delivered a glossy new video clip for the alcohol-related number.
The video intercuts visuals of green and clear liquor bottles smashing to smithereens and a woman in a unitard doing a sultry dance before focusing on Lamar drinking in an empty house by his lonesome. After laying down some lines questioning why people let the liquor hit their lips, the vid shifts to a wavy party scene and some shots of the rapper falling helplessly into a pool.
