She chose not a life of imitation

In a shock to no one, Kelly Clarkson has slayed yet another cover. In her latest "Kellyoke" segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer and her band Y'all shared their spin on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2002 hit "Can't Stop."

Clocking in at under two minutes, the short yet sweet cover is more soulful than the original, thanks to Clarkson's vocals. Even if you don't like RHCP, it's quite good! Her guitarist, Jaco Caraco, also delivered some backup vocals. Watch it below.

Clarkson seems to be one of the people who think the Chili Peppers have aged quite well, actually, as she also covered "Under the Bridge" last year. She's definitely no stranger to covering alternative tracks, as she's also shared renditions of "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Fake Plastic Trees" and "Ironic" on her show.
