While the 8-bit soundtrack to Kaytranada's videogame was pretty charming, the day his fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. The much-hyped Montreal beatsmith has officially released his 99.9%, and it's online now for all to stream.
Slowly, since announcing the album earlier in the year, Kaytranada has been previewing the collection. We'd already heard the "Bus Ride" collaboration with River Tiber and his "Glowed Up" party jam with R&B crossover artist Anderson .Paak.
Now that the entire release is flying at us full force, you can latch onto the post-French Touch synth work of opener "Track Uno," the smooth, sunny a.m. soul bump of his Craig David-manned "Got It Good," the wind chimes-loaded "Despite the Weather," and so much more.
The album also features a number of high-profile guests, including AlunaGeorge, BADBADNOTGOOD, Vic Mensa, and Little Dragon.
