Katy Perry recently allowed us to Witness her life with an up close and way too personal livestream, and now the pop singer is giving us a closer look at her track "Swish Swish" with a new lyric video. Unfortunately, the clip's main purpose seems to be highlighting just how utterly ridiculous the song's lyrics actually are.
It opens with an analogy about a tiger not needing "opinions from a shellfish or a sheep," but it's not long until Perry jumps to crowning herself a "courtside killer queen." In addition to a string of other bad basketball references, she also fires other shots at the track's unnamed target, calling them an "old coupon expired."
Not even Nicki Minaj's guest verse can save this one.
To make matters worse, the lyric video also features an embarrassingly choreographed dance routine starring Gretchen — a 58-year-old Brazilian performer widely known as "the Queen of Butt."
