Katy Perry Returns with "Harleys in Hawaii"

In Tim Heidecker's elaborate On Cinema world, the heightened Tim Heidecker that he plays onscreen once attempted to release a book of motorcycle photos called "Hog Shots." He also, of course, filmed a season of his terrible action series Decker in Honolulu. Is Katy Perry an On Cinema head? Hard to say for sure, but her new single is called "Harleys in Hawaii."

The song was produced by Charlie Puth, who also co-wrote (alongside a half-dozen other people). Despite its retro aesthetic, however, the song is more of a mid-tempo modern pop song. Its accompanying video features plenty of literal visuals as Katy cruises on a Harley in — you guessed it — Hawaii.
