Katy Perry was slated to kick off her North American tour in support of this year's Witness on September 7, but the extensive string of shows has now been postponed.
Citing production delays, the tour has been rescheduled to start a little bit later. Perry will now kick off her run in Montreal on September 19, making her way to Toronto for concerts on October 31 and November 1. Her final scheduled stop in Vancouver remains unaffected and is still slated for February 5.
"Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week," Perry said in a press release. "I'll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait."
In addition to switching up the timeline, Perry has also unveiled the supporting acts that will be joining her on the trek. Carly Rae Jepsen, Purity Ring and Noah Cyrus (yes, Miley's little sis) will appear at select shows.
