katie Sevigny Montreal QC September 25 to 28

Packed into the small Farfadet, Montreal’s piano songstress graced the room in true form. Performing a sweet blend of Tori Amos atmospheric vocals and Fiona Apple-esque sombre piano sounds, Sevigny brought the room to a standstill. Backed up by a violinist, drummer and bassist, Sevigny and her band played a collection of songs, including a hilarious cover of Madonna’s "Hollywood.” Looking timid and bashful, the singer worked her way through her beautiful, melancholic songbook.
