Late last year, former Bikini Kill frontwoman Kathleen Hanna promised that her solo project turned full band the Julie Ruin would release a new full-length. Now, finally, we get all the details of the release.

The new full-length is called Run Fast, and features all new material from the group. We've already heard a song called "Girls Like Us," and we know that James Murphy mixed the track "Just My Kind." Now, we get another taste of the LP with the mid-tempo stomper "Oh Come On," which can be streamed below.

Originally conceived as a solo project in 1997, the Julie Ruin is now a full band. In addition to Hanna, the group features Kathi Wilcox (Bikini Kill), keyboardist Kenny Mellman (Kiki and Herb), drummer Carmine Covelli and guitarist Sara Landeau (a friend of Hanna's through Girls Rock Camp).

Run Fast will be available on September 3 via Hanna's own TJR Records, with distribution through Dischord.
