Pop star turned indie rock enthusiast Kate Nash released her album Girl Talk earlier this year, and now the British songwriter is continuing to promote it with a collection of remixes and a North American fall tour.
The tour runs for close to a month, from late October through most of November. In addition to a number of U.S. gigs, it includes a single Canadian show on November 5 in Toronto. As for the aforementioned new collection, it showcases a pile of remixes of her latest single, "OHMYGOD!", taken from Girl Talk. This digital release is billed as an EP, but it actually features a generous ten tracks, including the album version of "OHMYGOD!" plus eight remixes and a brand new tune called "Honest Policy." Among the remixers are JD Samson (of Le Tigre/MEN), IMOL (a.k.a. William Bowerman of La Roux's live band) and more.
