Kat Burns Announces Kashka Tour Dates, Unveils New Video

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 31, 2012

As previously reported, former Forest City Lovers member Kat Burns moved on from the group to deliver her solo project Kashka's debut disc, Vichada. With the release having been launched on the singer's own Play the Triangle imprint in July, Burns is now ready to take her tunes out on the road on an upcoming tour.

Kashka will depart its Toronto home base to play a handful of shows around Ontario and Quebec between September and October. Cities being hit up include Oshawa, Kingston, Wakefield, Montreal, Guelph and Sudbury. This batch of gigs will be wrapped up with a Vichada release party at Toronto's Drake hotel. You can peep the full details down below.

Burns also just premiered a new video for her new album's title track. The darkly lit clip for the experimental electro-folk number finds the performer pulling some interpretive shadow-puppet movements behind a silk screen, while rippling water scenes screen nearby. Check it out at the bottom of the page.

Tour dates:

9/12 Oshawa, ON - Murphy's
9/13 Kingston, ON - The Artel
9/14 Wakefield, QC - Black Sheep Inn
