With Halloween just a few days away, Toronto songwriter KASHKA is getting into the spooky, silly spirit of the season by releasing a medley containing festive graveyard smash "Monster Mash" along with a couple of contemporary pop hits.
The track is appropriately titled "Monster Mashup," and it combines the aforementioned Halloween anthem with Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" and Justin Bieber's "Sorry." The instrumentation consists of some low-key synth sweeps and simple rhythms along with seasonally appropriate organ chords. For the accompanying video, we see KASHKA singer Kat Burns donning a shoulder-padded suit and dancing while mugging for the camera.
