After first announcing the G.O.O.D. Music compilation in the autumn of 2011, Kanye West's long-awaited release finally has a due date.

While on Funkmaster Flux's radio show, G.O.O.D. cohort Pusha T revealed today (June 20) that the comp, going under the title Cruel Summer, is due out August 7. Of course, knowing the flexible nature of highly anticipated hip-hop releases, we'll take this as a tentative date for now.

While so far there is no tracklist for Cruel Summer, which is also the title of the film Yeezy recently premiered at Cannes, no doubt the previously released "Mercy" will make an appearance, as will guests such as Big Sean, Frank Ocean, 2 Chainz and Pusha T.

For now, stay tuned for more firm details to arise and tune into the BET Awards on July 1 to watch the G.O.O.D. family perform during the ceremony.

Also, below you can check out a new Swizz Beatz-produced Pusha T track, "Lambo (Mercy Part 2)," which he premiered during his Funkmaster Flex appearance.
