Kanye West's DONDA Announces Partnership with Jay Z's Roc Nation

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 3, 2014

Kanye West and Jay Z already have an extensive collaborative relationship, having worked together on their Watch the Throne album. Now, they've strengthened their bonds through a new partnership between Yeezy's DONDA creative house and Hova's Roc Nation company.

An announcement reveals that Roc Nation will be managing DONDA, namely "Mr. West's international recording brand and worldwide touring ventures."

It's only appropriate that Roc Nation should be working with the "multi-discipline design and content company," since the announcement notes that DONDA designed the 2011 tour for Watch the Throne. (That being said, we didn't start hearing about DONDA until 2012.)

It's not entirely clear what this partnership will yield, but hopefully it will encourage the rappers to finally make their long-hinted-at Watch the Throne 2 album, though no new songs had been written as of last fall.

In DONDA news, Kanye's new line for Adidas is slated to debut this fall.
