After offering up the tracklisting to Swish over the weekend, it now looks as if Kanye West will be premiering the LP with a multimedia event at New York City's Madison Square Garden on February 11. Reportedly, the evening will see West debut both his new album and the "Yeezy Season 3" fashion line.
As previously reported, the full-length was recently given a due date of February 11. Now, as a Reddit user has pointed out [via Pitchfork], various international movie theatres are advertising the live screening of West's unveiling of the album at Madison Square Garden.
A poster for the event, which you can see up above, reveals that the night is being billed as "Yeezy Season 3." This follows West's previous fashion shows, which were named, respectively, "Yeezy Season 1" and "Yeezy Season 2." West had tweeted out a picture of a laptop advertising the February 11 launch of "Yeezy Season 3" last Thursday (January 21).
UPDATE (01/26, 2:30 p.m.): The event has been confirmed as the "world premiere of the album Swish in its entirety," with the event set to take place on February 11 at 4 p.m. EST. More info is expected to arrive via Kanye's site in due course.
If you'll remember, Kim Kardashian had previously explained that the delay of West's recent "No Parties in L.A." single was in part due to the rapper working on "Yeezy Season 3" out in Italy.
Like his previous "Yeezy Season" shows, the upcoming performance at Madison Square Garden will feature visuals from artist Vanessa Beecroft. Both of the previous fashion events had been screened in theatres as well.
As previously reported, Swish will feature recent G.O.O.D. Fridays singles "No Parties in L.A." and "Real Friends", as well as "Fade" and the Sia- and Vic Mensa-aided "Wolves." A track featuring Chance the Rapper is expected to drop soon, but it's unclear at present if this is a G.O.O.D. Fridays exclusive or a track on Swish.
