Kanye West Teases Collaborative Album with Drake at OVO Fest

In case you missed it, this long weekend was turning up all Drake. Not only was he popping up in music videos, but it was time for his annual OVO Fest. And as always, that latter event came with some big surprises, this time the biggest of which was that he and Kanye West are plotting a collaborative album.

Turning up as a surprise guest at the Toronto event last night (August 1) at Air Canada Centre, West asked the crowd, "Is y'all ready for this album?" Going on to then clarify, "I wasn't talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y'all right now: Are y'all ready for this album?"

Then, sealing the deal, Kanye pointed over at Drake, with the Toronto MC acknowledging him back.

Watch some fan-shot footage of the exchange, as well as some more Ye highlights at OVO below.

Kanye previously teased a Drake collaboration in a 2015 interview with The Breakfast Club, saying at the time that they had been working on a mixtape together. "The 'Wolves' song came from a conversation that me and Drake had, when was gonna do an album together, and the album was called Wolves," he explained.

Along with teasing the new as-yet-untitled album, Kanye played a series of Pablo tracks at OVO, such "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" and "Famous," along with "Runaway" and "Pop Style."
