Not far removed from his recent hospitalizationKanye West met with president-elect Donald Trump in New York yesterday to reportedly talk about "multicultural issues" that included "bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago." On the other hand, it could have been to get the TIME magazine cover star's autograph on the recent issue he's covering.

After yesterday's tweets defending his meeting, West shared a photo this morning of the "Person of the Year" issue autographed by Trump himself. A message made out to the rapper reads, "To Kanye, you are a great friend. Thanks."

During yesterday's appearance, West told reporters he just wanted to take a photo with the president-elect, while Trump told them he and West were meeting as "just friends." When asked what they talked about, Trump responded: "life."

Before he was hospitalized, West delivered a controversial speech in support of Trump at a "Saint Pablo" show in San Jose. While he admitted to not voting in the recent U.S. election, West told the crowd that if he had, he would have voted for Trump.
