Kanye West Confirms "Black Skinhead" Video Is Not Official, Lashes Out at Leaker

Following speculation that yesterday's (July 8) video premiere for Kanye West's Yeezus track "Black Skinhead" may not have been legit, owing to neither the rapper nor Def Jam Records properly announcing it, West has now come out admitting that the CGI-heavy clip was leaked before being completed.

Taking to his Twitter account today, West wrote: "The BLKKK SKKKN HD video that leaked yesterday was not the official version. Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it's heartbreaking when something like this happens."

He added that the finished video will "be ready within the week," so maybe those spiky armour plates he sports in the vid will be smoothed out a bit. He also requested that any website hosting the "unapproved/unfinished" version take it off their site to "allow me and Nick to give the world what we've been losing sleep over."

Additionally, Yeezy had some parting words for the person who went behind his back to upload the clip: "And to who ever leaked the video… FUK YOU!"
