Rap teen Chief Keef made a memorable guest appearance on Kanye West's Yeezus track "Hold My Liquor," and now reports suggest that the pair are collaborating once again.
The news comes from a reliable source: Keef's manager Peeda Pan. He posted a photo of the two Chicago-bred rappers working together earlier this month (above), although the photo was subsequently deleted from Instagram.
"Yeah, they working on a few songs for each other's projects," he told XXL. "Kanye will definitely be on Keef's album on Bang 3."
Pan further explained, "I'll just put it to you like this: They have several new songs. They'll be collaborating and they'll be released this year."
He suggested that Kanye is something of a mentor to Keef, saying, "I think Kanye sees a lot of Keef's rebelliousness in himself and he identifies with it."
As for when we'll hear the fruits of the collaboration, Bang 3 may be out as soon as March, but that date may be pushed back. It's apparently been upgraded from a mixtape to a full-blown album.
As reported earlier this week, Keef is also working on a project called Back from the Dead 2. Below you can hear the new track "All I Care About" from the release.
