Published Oct 08, 2013Kanye West is facing charges of criminal battery and attempted grand theft following an altercation with a paparazzo at Los Angeles's LAX airport this summer. Now, a judge has ordered Kanye to stay at least 10 yards away from Daniel Ramos, the photographer he reportedly scuffled with.
TMZ notes that the prosecution asked that the rapper be forced to take anger management classes, but the judge rejected this request. Furthermore, the judge apparently told prosecutors to advise Ramos to keep his distance from Kanye.
The incident occurred on July 19. Ramos was treated in hospital after the altercation and claimed to have suffered a hip injury.
West previously claimed self-defence in the case. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail.
