Kanye West Announces New Album Will Be Out November 25, Premieres New Single

Well, Kanye West’s ”November something” has turned into November 25. This will reportedly be the new release date for Kanye’s upcoming Def Jam album, 808s and Heartbreak, and not December 16, as was previously rumoured.

Kanye announced the new drop date during a "surprise appearance” at T.I.’s MySpace-sponsored show in L.A. Friday (October 3), Billboard reports. "We just finished the album. I just got back from Hawaii earlier today," Kanye told the crowd before launching into "Heartless,” which is supposedly 808s and Heartbreak’s second single.

In other Kanye news (since there is always other Kanye news), the bosses over at HBO have apparently shelved the rapper’s new TV comedy where West plays a "black Larry David.” While speaking of the pilot to ComingSoon, Curb Your Enthusiasm director/producer Larry Charles said: "It was really good, but again I think it was too hardcore for HBO. People gave it a very good response and it seems to be on the shelf right now. The management has shifted at HBO so we're waiting to see."

Despite this show’s setback, the one involving puppets is so far, so good.
