Published Oct 19, 2011When Kanye West's not standing up for the 99 percent and debuting fashion lines, the larger-than-life rapper/producer has been dabbling in the music biz with his G.O.O.D. Music imprint and management company. The label, which stands for "Getting Out Our Dreams," will now join the ranks with Young Money and Maybach Music Group with a new group album set for release some time next year.
The news comes via Kanye's Twitter, where today (October 19) he simply wrote, "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012."
The current G.O.O.D. Music roster includes Kanye, Common, John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Malik Yusef, Mr Hudson, Cyhi Da Prynce, Mos Def, Pusha T, D'banj and Teyana Taylor, so this record will be a monster when it drops.
Of course, knowing the kinds of endless delays that plague rap releases, don't be surprised if this one takes a while to drop. Still, the prospect of a G.O.O.D. Music record in 2012 is pretty exciting.
