Of the many musical guests who appeared on Saturday Night Live's star-studded 40th anniversary show this weekend, one of the must-see peformances came from Kanye West. This performance has now made its way online.
Not only the did rapper deliver an enigmatic, arty stage show, but he gave us a listen to some of his new material. He began by laying flat on his back, rapping "Jesus Walks" with an low-hanging illuminated screen over him. He then stood up and delivered an abridged version of his AutoTune ballad "Only One," before guests Sia and Vic Mensa came out for the new cut "Wolves."
West's voice sounds a little ragged and hoarse, but the AutoTune helps to disguise some of the flaws. Check it out below. The rapper also appeared in a Wayne's World skit at a different point in the show.
