At this point, someone somewhere should be probably writing a child-friendly fable called The Kanye Who Cried Album Title. The moral? Every time the rapper changed his album title — from So Help Me God to Swish to Waves — the patiently waiting public's instinct goes from excitement at the prospect of new music to eye-rolling.
Surprising no one, Kanye West has swapped his upcoming album's title once again. He had hinted that Waves was going to be dropped, and now — two days before the record is set to premiere at theatres around the world — the rapper has revealed that the latest album title is T.L.O.P.
He tweeted out the news, and offered up tickets to his Season 3 event and free Yeezys to anyone who could correctly guess what the acronym stands for.
Whatever T.L.O.P. stands for, it's set to arrive on February 11. West is also scheduled to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this coming weekend (February 13).
On a side note, Ye followed up the newest album title with the announcement that his fourth fashion line would only focus on kids clothing. Sounds like a nice accompaniment to that lesson-teaching storybook.
