Like most of us, she too had a Hawthorne Heights phase

Country-pop star Kacey Musgraves is still basking in the light of her acclaimed new album Golden Hour ahead of her North American tour. Though we all associate her with tasteful crossover country, however, she has revealed that like most people in her generation she too had an emo upbringing.

It all started when Ohio emo rockers and former Victory Records act Hawthorne Heights questioned whether or not Musgraves ever vibed out to their music:
