Justin Timberlake Publicly Apologizes to Jessica Biel After He Was Caught Holding Hands with Co-Star Alisha Wainwright

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Dec 5, 2019

Justin Timberlake has publicly apologized to his wife Jessica Biel and their family, after footage of him holding hands with actor Alisha Wainwright surfaced and caused rumours of cheating.

Timberlake and Wainwright are currently filming Palmer, though extra-curricular tape that has since gone viral sees the pair getting a little hands-y off-set.

Timberlake has now addressed the photos and rumours "that are hurting people the people I love."

In an Instagram post last night (December 4), he stated, "Let me be clear, nothing happened between me and my co-star."

Nevertheless, Timberlake admitted that he "displayed a strong lapse in judgment" and "drank way too much that night."

Timberlake went on to say that he regrets his behaviour and apologized to his wife and son for the "embarrassing situation."

Timberlake closed by saying that he is "focused on being the best husband and father I can be," and that he is proud of the work he's done on Palmer.

Unfortunately, Twitter is being less than kind to Timberlake in the wake of the rumours and ensuing apology.

Many are comparing the situation to him escaping from the Super Bowl "nipple-gate" scandal unscathed, despite Janet Jackson's career taking a hit for the infamous wardrobe malfunction. Others are pointing out how often he talked about Britney Spears cheating on him in public appearances and his music.
