Since the release of his last LP, Valleyheart, Justin Rutledge has been busy touring Canada's west coast. Although the Toronto native doesn't have any local shows planned, we sat down with him while he was he was back home for the latest episode of Exclaim! TV.
For his performance, Rutledge strips away the layers of organs, twang-y guitars, and drums, and instead performs a simplified version of "Out of the Woods," accompanied by Miranda Mulholland (Belle Starr, Great Lake Swimmers) on fiddle and backup vocals.
