Justin Bieber has apparently run out of Purpose. After all, the world-traversing Canadian pop champ has just cancelled his entire world tour.

In a statement, here's what Bieber's team had to say about axing the tour:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

Bieber had recently announced some hefty openers to his tour, with Vic Mensa, Migos and Kehlani all set to join him. The cancelled dates included stops throughout North America and Asia, with two Toronto shows being pulled on September 5 and 6.

There was also some controversy surrounding his planned trip to Asia, as Bieber was recently banned from visiting China
