Justin Bieber Is Hosting Bible Study Classes on Tour

Though his recent live dates have been getting press for the wrong reasons, the latest story from Justin Bieber's tour cycle paints a more saintly picture of the Canadian pop star. The Purpose performer has reportedly been giving his support acts Bible study lessons backstage.

UK publication the Sun reports that the Biebs has been "sitting down with his opening acts and encouraging them to put Christ before everything," with a source saying "his aim is to convert the people he loves and warn other stars against the evils of the industry."

"Justin's life changed for the better since he found God and he has been making better decisions now that he has found peace within his faith," the source continued. "After seeing so many other celebs go off the rails, he wants to help his friends find the joy and happiness he has."

Bieber has spoken about his faith in the past, criticizing some Christian followers for being "overly churchy." "Like I said, you don't need to go to church to be a Christian," he told Complex last year. "If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn't make you a taco."

If you're looking to hear Bieber's gospel in 2017, you're in luck, as Bieber recently announced a handful of dates for the new year.
